    Julien Nadeau founded Alutrec Inc. in Sainte-Agathe-de-Lotbinière, Quebec. Alutrec is the leading manufacturer specializing in the design and production of all aluminum semi-trailers in Canada.

  • 2012

    Alutrec launches the State-of-the art and light weight Capacity semi-trailer. It is the industry’s first and only monocoque aluminum trailer where the floor and the main beams are unitized into one structural body. The technology was developed over a 5 year period at a cost of over $ 3 million with the support from major partners including universities and research centers specialized in aluminum.

    Injection of funds from a new private partner.

  • 2016

    Alutrec buys a 228,000 square foot plant in Laurier-Station, QC and moves its production.

  • 2016

    A minority shareholder buys the remaining shares of Alutrec from the original founder.

  • 2016

    Alutrec announces its New President and CEO.

  • 2018

    August 31, Manac completes the acquisition of Alutrec Inc.

  • 2019

    Alutrec introduces its new brand image.
